Rates & Insurance

Insurance:
Currently Dr. McGonagle is a provider for most Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Plans. Even if you have Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, it is always important to check if a specific provider is covered under your plan. Sometimes patients may not be aware of factors which may affect which providers are covered. When contacting your insurance carrier, use the national provider identification number for Dr. Kathleen McGonagle (#1285691089) to receive the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding coverage. Please do not use office location as an identifier as sometimes provider information may not be up to date.

Other important information to know before beginning any type of health care:

  • Do I have a deductible and has it been met?
  • What is the amount of my co-pay?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

In order to avoid the stress of unexpected fees, please be aware that copays or payments for deductibles are due at the time of each visit.

Self payment for services is accepted. Please contact Dr. McGonagle for information regarding self-payment.

Cancellation Policy:
Women's Wellbeing has a cancellation policy requesting 24 hours notice when canceling an appointment. New patients may reschedule an initial appointment one time without a cancellation fee. If an initial appointment needs to be rescheduled a second time, a cancellation fee with be applied.

Payment:
At this time only cash or checks are accepted as payments. All payments (co-pays, payments for deductibles and self-payments) are required at the time services are rendered.

PLEASE NOTE: All policies regarding payments were developed with respect and understanding that clients are not always able to avoid a cancellation, as well as the reality of financial constraints that most of us experience at times. Please know that these policies are in no way meant as punitive, but are necessary to support the cost of maintaining a private practice.

We very much appreciate your understanding.
